Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it's ready for baking.

Prepare the Muffin Pan
Grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or line with paper liners to prevent sticking.
Mixing

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as it can make the muffins tough.
Add-ins and Baking

If using, gently fold in the blueberries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Fill Muffin Tins
Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.

Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cooling

Once baked, remove the muffin tin from the oven and allow the muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
