Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a mixing bowl, take the ground beef and form it into two equal-sized patties. Make sure to season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover with a lid to help melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the brioche buns in half and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and slice the lettuce, tomato, and onion. Slice the tomato into rounds and the onion into thin rings.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the cooked beef patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, pickles, and onion rings. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve with a Side

Choose one of the side options (French fries, coleslaw, or onion rings) and serve alongside the burger on a plate.
