Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips. In a bowl, mix olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken strips and coat well. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Vegetables

While the chicken is marinating, slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the vegetables until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Chicken

In the same skillet, add the marinated chicken strips and cook until they are golden brown and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine and Serve

Return the cooked vegetables to the skillet with the chicken and stir to combine. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave. Serve the chicken and vegetable mixture in tortillas, topped with sour cream, guacamole, shredded cheese, and fresh cilantro if desired.
