Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Set aside.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
- 3
Sauté the Bell Pepper
Add the diced bell pepper to the skillet and sauté in the bacon fat for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- 4
Cook the Chicken
Add olive oil to the skillet if needed, then place the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- 5
Make the Cheese Sauce
Reduce heat to low. Add the cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet with the bell pepper. Stir until melted and smooth.
- 6
Combine and Serve
Crumble the cooked bacon and mix it into the cheese sauce. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken breasts and serve hot.
