Prepare the Shrimp
In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the halved lemon and salt to the boiling water.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the jumbo shrimp to the pot and cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove them from the pot and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.

Serve
Once the shrimp are cool, drain them and arrange on a platter. Serve with cocktail sauce on the side.
