Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Mix well and set aside.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Pat the New York Strip Steak dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Garlic Butter

During the last minute of cooking, top the steak with the prepared garlic butter and let it melt over the steak.

  5. 5

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for about 5 minutes before slicing.

  6. 6

    Serve

Slice the steak against the grain and serve with any remaining garlic butter drizzled on top.
