Vegetarian Stir-Fry

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop the bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Trim the ends of the snap peas and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Tofu

Drain the tofu and press it gently between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Cut the tofu into cubes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Aromatics

Minced the garlic and ginger finely. Chop the green onions, separating the white and green parts.

  4. 4

    Cook the Tofu

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.

  5. 5

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the garlic, ginger, and the white parts of the green onions. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  6. 6

    Combine Ingredients

Add the bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  7. 7

    Add Tofu and Sauce

Return the cooked tofu to the skillet and pour the soy sauce over the mixture. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  8. 8

    Season and Serve

Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with sesame seeds and the green parts of the green onions before serving.
