Prepare the Glass
Run a lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip it in salt to coat the rim.

Mix the Margarita Base
In a shaker, combine 1 cup of tequila, 1 cup of lime juice, 1 cup of triple sec, and 1 tablespoon of simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.

Combine Ingredients
Strain the margarita mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.

Add Beer
Slowly pour 1 cup of light beer over the margarita mixture in the glass.

Garnish with two lime wedges on the rim of the glass.
