Burger Patty

Bun

Toppings (optional)

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined to avoid overworking the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patty

Shape the mixture into a small patty about 4 oz in weight and approximately 1/2 inch thick.

Cook the Burger

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Heat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat until hot.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patty

Place the patty on the grill or skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness. If using cheese, add it on top of the patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Bun

While the burger is cooking, slice the brioche bun in half. You can toast the bun on the grill or in a toaster if desired.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Once the patty is cooked, place it on the bottom half of the bun. Add lettuce, tomato, pickles, and any condiments such as ketchup or mustard as desired.

  3. 7

    Finish the Burger

Top with the other half of the brioche bun and serve immediately.
