Chicken Tenders

Dipping Sauce

Method

Preparation of Chicken Tenders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breasts into tender-sized strips, approximately 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Season the Chicken

In a bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken strips and toss to coat evenly.

  3. 3

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. First, dip each chicken strip in flour, shaking off the excess.

  4. 4

    Bread the Chicken

Next, dip the floured chicken strip into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat the chicken in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Frying Chicken Tenders

  1. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test if the oil is ready by dropping a small piece of bread into it; if it sizzles, it's ready.

  2. 6

    Fry the Chicken

Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 7

    Drain the Chicken

Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Preparing the Dipping Sauce

  1. 8

    Mix the Dipping Sauce

In a small bowl, combine ketchup, mayonnaise, honey, and mustard. Stir until well blended. Adjust seasoning to taste.
