Preparing the Bread Pudding

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut the thick slices of bread into cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.

Pour the custard mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring they are well soaked. Add the craisins and gently fold them into the mixture.

Making the Maple Whiskey Sauce

In a saucepan, combine the pure maple syrup, whiskey, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
