Salad Preparation

Prepare the Romaine
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Remove any wilted or damaged leaves. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner.

Chop the Lettuce
Chop the romaine into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

Add Croutons
Add the croutons to the bowl with the chopped romaine.

Add Parmesan Cheese
Grate the Parmesan cheese and sprinkle it over the salad.
Dressing Preparation

Make the Dressing
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the egg yolk, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice until well combined.

Emulsify the Dressing
Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing thickens and emulsifies.

Add salt and black pepper to the dressing, adjusting to taste.
Combine and Serve

Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine all ingredients evenly.
