Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. While the grill is heating up, pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Chicken
Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, and then season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Grilling
- 3
Grill the Chicken
Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the preheated grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
- 4
Add the Cheese
During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of jack cheese on each chicken breast to melt.
Assembly
- 5
Prepare the Sandwich
Once the chicken is grilled and the cheese is melted, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- 6
Assemble the Chicken Sandwich
Slice the tomato into thin rounds. On the bottom half of each sandwich roll, spread a generous amount of ranch dressing, add a piece of grilled chicken with melted cheese, top with lettuce leaves and tomato slices. Place the top half of the roll on each sandwich.
