Method

Turkey Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well incorporated, but do not overmix.

  2. 2

    Shape Patties

Divide the turkey mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, about ¾ inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook Patties

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Blueberry Chutney Preparation

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium saucepan, combine the fresh blueberries, sugar, apple cider vinegar, red onion, grated ginger, and cinnamon.

  2. 5

    Cook Chutney

Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 15-20 minutes, or until the blueberries have burst and the mixture has thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Prepare Buns

Toast the brioche buns lightly on a skillet or grill until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Assemble Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a turkey patty. Top the patty with a slice of smoked gouda cheese, a spoonful of blueberry chutney, and a slice of tomato. Finish with the top half of the bun.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve the Blueberry Hill Turkey Burgers warm with your favorite sides.
