Main Course

Method

Main Course

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ham

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.

  2. 2

    Make the Glaze

In a bowl, combine brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, and ground cloves. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Glaze the Ham

Brush the glaze over the scored surface of the ham and place it in a roasting pan.

  4. 4

    Roast the Ham

Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and roast for about 15 minutes per pound, or until heated through. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to caramelize the glaze.

Side Dishes

  1. 5

    Prepare the Green Beans

Trim the ends of the green beans and wash them thoroughly.

  2. 6

    Sauté the Green Beans

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  3. 7

    Cook the Beans

Add the green beans to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.

Dessert

  1. 8

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 9

    Prepare the Cake Batter

In a large bowl, combine carrot cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.

  3. 10

    Bake the Cake

Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  4. 11

    Frost the Cake

Once the cake has cooled, spread cream cheese frosting on top and sprinkle chopped walnuts for garnish.
