Salmon

Asparagus

Lemon Butter

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush the mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the ends of the asparagus spears and place them in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Lemon Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped parsley. Keep warm.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the preheated grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for another 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  2. 5

    Grill the Asparagus

While the salmon is grilling, place the asparagus spears directly on the grill. Grill for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve the Dish

Remove the salmon and asparagus from the grill. Plate the salmon alongside the grilled asparagus and drizzle the lemon butter over both. Serve immediately.
