Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help the Brussels sprouts become crispy.
- 2
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Trim the stem end of each Brussels sprout and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Cut the sprouts in half lengthwise.
Cooking
- 3
Toss with Olive Oil and Seasoning
In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the sprouts are evenly coated.
- 4
Roast the Brussels Sprouts
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.
- 5
Add Balsamic Glaze
Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Toss to coat evenly.
- 6
Sprinkle with Parmesan
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the Brussels sprouts and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
Serving
- 7
Serve
Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy as a side dish or appetizer!
