Method
Preparation of Wings
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps them become crispy.
- 2
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the wings are evenly coated.
Cooking the Wings
- 3
Bake the Wings
Arrange the coated wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Preparing Buffalo Sauce
- 4
Make the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, and paprika until combined.
Tossing Wings in Sauce
- 5
Coat the Wings
Once the wings are cooked, place them in a large bowl and pour the buffalo sauce over them. Toss the wings in the sauce until they are well coated.
Serving
- 6
Prepare the Serving Platter
Arrange the buffalo wings on a serving platter. Serve with celery sticks and a side of blue cheese dressing for dipping.
