Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Silver Noodles

Soak the silver noodles in warm water for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are soft. Drain and cut into shorter lengths if necessary.

  2. 2

Cook the Shrimp and Ground Pork

In a pot of boiling water, add the shrimp and ground pork. Cook until the shrimp turns pink and the pork is fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

Thinly slice the red onion, chop the cilantro and spring onions, and slice the bird's eye chilies. Set aside.

Mixing the Salad

  1. 4

    Combine the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the soaked silver noodles, cooked shrimp, ground pork, red onion, cilantro, spring onions, and bird's eye chilies.

  2. 5

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, fish sauce, and sugar until the sugar dissolves.

  3. 6

    Toss the Salad

Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss well to combine all the ingredients evenly.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve the Salad

Transfer the Yum Woon Sen to a serving platter or individual bowls. Enjoy immediately as a refreshing salad!
