Preparation Steps
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
Prepare the Ham
Place the bone-in ham on a roasting rack in a large roasting pan. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern, about 1/4 inch deep.
Make the Glaze
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth and begins to bubble.
Glaze the Ham
Brush the glaze generously over the scored surface of the ham, making sure to get it into the cuts.
Bake the Ham
Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour. Remove the foil and brush with additional glaze. Bake for another 30 minutes, basting with glaze every 10 minutes until the ham is heated through and caramelized.
Serve
Once done, remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
