Dumplings

Mango Cabbage Slaw

Sesame Soy Dipping Sauce

Method

Dumplings

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Assemble Dumplings

Take a dumpling wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the chicken filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and press to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

  3. 3

    Cook the Dumplings

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, add dumplings in a single layer and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and immediately cover to steam the dumplings for 5 minutes. Remove the lid and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the water evaporates and the dumplings are crispy.

Mango Cabbage Slaw

  1. 4

    Mix the Slaw Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the thinly sliced green cabbage, diced mango, shredded carrot, and chopped cilantro.

  2. 5

    Dress the Slaw

In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss gently to combine. Set aside to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Sesame Soy Dipping Sauce

  1. 6

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame seeds until well combined.
