Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Steamed Broccoli

Method

Marinade

1

Prepare the Marinade

In a medium bowl, combine the bourbon, tamari sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, black pepper, and olive oil. Whisk until well blended.

2

Marinate the Steak Tips

Place the sirloin steak pieces in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Cooking the Steak Tips

3

Cook the Steak Tips

Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade, shaking off excess liquid. Cook the steak tips in the skillet for about 3-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness is achieved. Remove from heat and let rest.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

4

Boil the Potatoes

In a large pot, add the cubed potatoes and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

5

Make the Mashed Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Steamed Broccoli

6

Steam the Broccoli

In a steamer basket over boiling water, add the broccoli florets. Steam for about 5-7 minutes until bright green and tender. Sprinkle with salt before serving.
