Fig Balsamic Glaze
Lemon Aioli
Method
Brussels Sprouts Preparation
- 1
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2
Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water and trim the ends. Cut them in half lengthwise.
- 3
In a large mixing bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
- 4
Spread the Brussels sprouts out evenly on a baking sheet, cut side down.
- 5
Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are crispy and golden brown, stirring halfway through.
Fig Balsamic Glaze Preparation
- 6
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine fig jam and balsamic vinegar.
- 7
Bring to a simmer, stirring often, until the mixture thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
- 8
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly; it will continue to thicken as it cools.
Lemon Aioli Preparation
- 9
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, and lemon juice.
- 10
Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- 11
Season with salt to taste and adjust the lemon juice if more acidity is desired.
