Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Turn occasionally to ensure even cooking.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Lettuce

While the bacon is cooking, remove the core from the head of iceberg lettuce. Cut the lettuce into quarters and rinse each quarter under cold water. Shake off excess water and pat dry with paper towels.

  3. 3

    Chop the Tomato

Dice the medium tomato into small chunks, removing any seeds if desired.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Salad

On a large plate or platter, place the wedges of lettuce. Crumble the cooked bacon over each wedge, then add the diced tomato on top.

  5. 5

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the blue cheese dressing over the salad wedges. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately as a refreshing side salad or appetizer.
