Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Steak
Take the ribeye steak out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30-45 minutes. This ensures even cooking.
Season the Steak
Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Generously season both sides with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, making sure to cover the entire surface.
Check Doneness
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. For medium-rare, it should read 130-135°F (54-57°C). Adjust cooking time as needed based on your desired doneness.
Rest the Steak
Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the pan and let it rest on a cutting board for 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.
