Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Beef Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

2

Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty that is slightly larger than the burger buns, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty.

3

Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, add the bacon slices. Cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.

4

Cook the Beef Patties

In the same skillet (drain excess bacon fat if necessary), add olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Add the beef patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.

5

Add Cheese

Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

6

Prepare the Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, wash and slice the lettuce, tomato, and onion. Cut the tomato into thick slices and the onion into rings.

7

Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns lightly if desired. On the bottom half of each bun, place a patty with melted cheese. Top with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Finish with the top half of the bun.

8

Serve

Serve the burgers hot with your choice of sides or condiments.
