Method
Sides and Accompaniments
- 1
Prepare the Butter
In a medium mixing bowl, soften the unsalted butter at room temperature for about 15 minutes until it is easy to mix.
- 2
Mince the Garlic
Peel and finely mince the fresh garlic cloves. Add the minced garlic to the softened butter.
- 3
Add Fresh Herbs
Chop the fresh parsley, chives, and thyme leaves. Stir them into the butter mixture until evenly distributed.
- 4
Season the Butter
Sprinkle the salt and black pepper into the butter mixture. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are fully combined.
- 5
Shape the Butter
Transfer the garlic herb butter onto a piece of plastic wrap or parchment paper. Roll it into a log shape and twist the ends to secure. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- 6
Serve
Once the butter has set, slice it into rounds and serve on top of hot grilled steaks or any dish of your choice.
