Preparation Directions
1. Prepare the Burghul
Soak the burghul in warm water for about 30 minutes until it is soft. Drain and squeeze out excess water.
2. Mix the Kebeh Filling
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, soaked burghul, chopped onion, ground cinnamon, ground allspice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
3. Shape the Kebeh
Wet your hands and take a small portion of the mixture. Shape it into an oval or disc shape, making a small indentation in the center. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
4. Cook the Kebeh
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the shaped kebeh for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
5. Serve with Tahini Sauce
Serve the kebeh hot with tahini sauce drizzled on top or on the side.
