For the Marinated Meat

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Marinate the Meat

In a large bowl, combine the cubed meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, yogurt, lemon juice, cumin powder, paprika, cinnamon powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to ensure the meat is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Skewers

Once the meat is marinated, preheat your grill or barbecue. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Thread the marinated meat onto the skewers.

  3. 3

    Grill the Kababs

Brush the skewers with olive oil and place them on the hot grill. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until the meat is well browned and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove the kababs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with pita bread, rice, or salad.
