Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and honey to create the marinade.
- 2
Add the Wings
Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until they are evenly coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
Grilling
- 3
Prepare the Grill
Soak the wood chips in water for at least 30 minutes. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- 4
Add Wood Chips
Drain the wood chips and place them in a smoker box or wrap them in aluminum foil, creating a pouch. Puncture holes in the foil pouch to allow smoke to escape, then place it on the grill.

- 6
Check for Doneness
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the wings reaches 165°F (74°C).

Serve
Remove the wings from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your flavorful smoked wings without any dipping sauce!
