Prepare the Batter

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until the batter is smooth and free of lumps. Let it rest for about 10 minutes.
Frying the Oreos

Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Coat the Oreos
Dip each Oreo into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.

Fry the Oreos
Carefully place the coated Oreos into the hot oil. Fry in batches for about 2-3 minutes, turning once, until they are golden brown.

Drain and Cool
Remove the fried Oreos from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serving

Plate the Dish
Place the fried Oreos on a serving plate. Serve warm with scoops of vanilla ice cream on the side.

Drizzle with Hershey's chocolate syrup over the top of the fried Oreos and ice cream as desired.
