Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Coat the Steak

Rub the marinade all over the sirloin steak, ensuring it's well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

Salmon Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Glaze

In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  2. 4

    Coat the Salmon

Place the salmon fillet in a baking dish and pour the glaze over it, making sure it's evenly coated. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

Roasting Asparagus

  1. 5

    Prepare the Asparagus

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, toss the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 6

    Roast the Asparagus

Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.

Cooking the Steak and Salmon

  1. 7

    Cook the Steak

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated sirloin steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

  2. 8

    Cook the Salmon

While the steak is cooking, place the salmon in the oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

Once both the steak and salmon are cooked, let them rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve the steak and salmon on a plate alongside the roasted asparagus.
