Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Protein

Cut the chicken thighs, steak, and shrimp into bite-sized pieces. Pat them dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Prep the Vegetables

Slice the zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, onion, and broccoli. Set aside in separate bowls.

  3. 3

    Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger. This will be used for seasoning the proteins and vegetables.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Cook the Chicken

Heat a large skillet or hibachi grill over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of oil if desired. Add the chicken pieces and cook for about 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 5

    Cook the Steak

In the same skillet, add the steak pieces. Cook for 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside with the chicken.

  3. 6

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the other proteins.

  4. 7

    Cook the Vegetables

Add a bit more oil to the skillet if needed. Add the sliced onions and cook for 2 minutes. Then add the zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, and broccoli. Stir-fry for about 5-6 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

  5. 8

    Combine and Serve

Return the cooked chicken, steak, and shrimp to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over the mixture and toss to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through. Serve over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
