Method

Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Pork Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Season the pork ribs with salt and pepper. In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and lemon juice. Coat the ribs with this mixture and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Braised Pork Ribs

Place the marinated ribs in a baking dish, cover with foil, and braise in the oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours, or until tender.

3

Prepare the Saikyo Miso Sablefish

While the ribs are cooking, marinate sablefish in saikyo miso for at least 1 hour (up to overnight for more flavor).

4

Cook the Sablefish

Preheat your grill or broiler. Remove excess miso from the sablefish and grill or broil for about 6-8 minutes, or until cooked through and flakey.

5

Asian Caesar Salad

In a large bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, grated Parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss well to combine.

6

Serve

Plate the braised pork ribs alongside the miso sablefish, and serve with a generous helping of Asian Caesar salad on the side.
