Chicken Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Start by flattening the chicken breasts slightly with a meat mallet to ensure even cooking. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Breading
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow dishes, set up your breading station. In the first dish, add the all-purpose flour. In the second dish, beat the eggs until well combined. In the third dish, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and paprika.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Take each marinated chicken breast and first dredge it in the flour, shaking off any excess. Next, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Repeat with all chicken breasts.

Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the breaded chicken breasts to the skillet. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 5
Drain and Serve
Once cooked, transfer the chicken breasts to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. Allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
