Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cucumber

Wash the cucumber thoroughly. Grate it using a box grater or food processor. After grating, place it in a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth and squeeze out excess moisture.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and mince them finely using a knife or garlic press.

  3. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, dill, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  4. 4

    Chill the Tzatziki

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the tzatziki to chill.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once chilled, give the tzatziki a good stir and serve it as a dip or sauce alongside your tacos árabes or other dishes.
