Prepare Hibiscus Tea
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, add 1 cup of dried hibiscus flowers to the water.

Steep the Flowers
Reduce the heat and let the hibiscus flowers steep for about 15-20 minutes, until the water turns a deep red color.

Sweeten the Tea
While the liquid is still warm, stir in 1 cup of sugar until completely dissolved.

Add Lime Juice
Add 1 tablespoon of lime juice to the sweetened hibiscus tea and mix well.

Chill and Serve
Let the Agua de Jamaica cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice cubes if desired, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
