Boil the Hibiscus Flowers
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, add 1 cup of dried hibiscus flowers to the pot.

Simmer
Reduce the heat to low and let the hibiscus flowers simmer for about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even brewing.

Strain the Mixture
After 15 minutes, remove the pot from heat. Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the liquid into a large pitcher, discarding the hibiscus flowers.

Add Lime Juice
Stir in 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice for added flavor.

Chill
Let the agua de jamaica cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Serve
To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled agua de jamaica over the ice. Optionally, garnish with fresh mint leaves.
