Cheese Curds
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Cheese Curds
In a bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- 2
Coat the Curds
Dip each cheese curd into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Make sure each curd is fully coated.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Curds
Carefully add the coated cheese curds to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Serve
Serve the fried cheese curds hot with sliced jalapeños, diced habaneros, and a side of ranch dressing for dipping.
