Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Burger Patties
In a large bowl, mix ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form into 4 equal patties.
- 2
Make the Beer Batter
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, beer, baking powder, and salt until smooth. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Patties
Dip each burger patty into the beer batter, allowing excess to drip off. Carefully place in hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the hot sauce and garlic powder until well combined. Remove from heat.
- 6
Coat the Burgers
Toss the fried burger patties in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
- 7
Assemble the Burgers
Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each burger bun, add a buffalo burger patty, a slice of cheddar cheese, and a slice of tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
