Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Burger Patty

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into a patty about 1/2 pound in weight.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Burger Patty

In the same skillet, cook the burger patty over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of sharp cheddar cheese on top of the patty and cover to melt.

  5. 5

    Prepare Onion Rings

In a separate pot, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the beer battered onion rings until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the burger bun, spread BBQ sauce. Place the cooked burger patty with melted cheese on top, followed by the crispy bacon and onion rings. Cap with the top half of the bun.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately with extra BBQ sauce on the side if desired.
