    Prepare the Edamame

    In a pot of boiling salted water, add the edamame pods and cook for about 3-5 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

    Char the Edamame

    Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the cooked edamame pods to the pan and drizzle with chile oil. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pods are charred and have grill marks.

    Season the Edamame

    Remove the edamame from the grill pan and transfer to a serving bowl. Sprinkle the salt trio over the charred edamame while they're still hot.

    Add Pop Rocks

    Just before serving, sprinkle the pop rocks over the top of the edamame for a fun, popping effect.
