Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Sauce

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the skillet.

  4. 4

    Add Cream and Season

Stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes, until it thickens slightly. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet along with the remaining butter. Toss to coat the shrimp in the sauce. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss again to combine. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
