Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Clams

Rinse the clams under cold running water to remove any sand or grit. Discard any clams that are open and do not close when tapped.

  2. 2

    Sauté Aromatics

In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sliced ginger. Sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Add Clams and Sake

Add the rinsed clams to the pot along with the sake and soy sauce. Stir well to combine.

  4. 4

    Steam the Clams

Cover the pot and allow the clams to steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until they have all opened up. Discard any that remain closed.

  5. 5

    Finish and Serve

Once the clams are cooked, add chopped green onions, black pepper, and parsley. Give it a gentle stir and serve hot.
