Prepare the patties
In a bowl, season the Angus beef patties with salt and black pepper. Form into two equal-sized patties.

Grill the patties
Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Add blue cheese
During the last minute of cooking, place blue cheese on top of each patty to allow it to melt.

Toast the buns
While the cheese is melting, place the hamburger buns cut-side down on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until toasted.

Assemble the burger
On the bottom half of each bun, place lettuce, the grilled patty with melted blue cheese, tomato slices, and red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.
