Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the patties

In a bowl, season the Angus beef patties with salt and black pepper. Form into two equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Preheat the grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly coat the grates with olive oil.

  3. 3

    Grill the patties

Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  4. 4

    Add blue cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place blue cheese on top of each patty to allow it to melt.

  5. 5

    Toast the buns

While the cheese is melting, place the hamburger buns cut-side down on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until toasted.

  6. 6

    Assemble the burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place lettuce, the grilled patty with melted blue cheese, tomato slices, and red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your delicious blue cheese burger!
