Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the beef steaks generously with salt and cracked black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sear the Steak

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned steaks and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter and let it melt. Stir in the beef broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow it to simmer for about 2-3 minutes.

  4. 4

    Finish the Sauce

Add the heavy cream and zip sauce to the skillet. Stir well and let it simmer for another 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Adjust seasoning with more salt and cracked black pepper if needed.

  5. 5

    Serve

Slice the rested steaks and plate them. Spoon the creamy pepper sauce over the steaks. Enjoy!
