Lobster Filling

Method

Prepare Lobster Filling

1

Cook Lobster

If not using pre-cooked lobster, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobster and cook for about 8-10 minutes until bright red and cooked through. Remove from the pot and let cool.

2

Chop Lobster

Once cooled, remove the lobster meat from the shell and chop it into bite-sized pieces.

3

Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and chives. Stir gently until well mixed. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Prepare Buns

4

Toast Buns

In a skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the hot dog buns and toast them on each side until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

Assemble and Serve

5

Fill Buns

Once the buns are toasted, carefully fill each bun with the lobster mixture.

6

Serve

Serve the lobster rolls immediately, garnished with additional chives if desired.
