Hot Honey Salmon

Shrimp Tempura

Avocado and Cucumber

Torched Cream Cheese

Method

Hot Honey Salmon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a small bowl, mix hot honey, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the honey mixture generously over the fillets.

  2. 2

    Bake the Salmon

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for a caramelized top.

Shrimp Tempura

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 4

    Prepare the Tempura Batter

In a mixing bowl, combine the tempura batter mix and ice-cold water. Stir gently until just combined; do not overmix.

  3. 5

    Fry the Shrimp

Dip each shrimp into the tempura batter and carefully place them in the hot oil. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Avocado and Cucumber

  1. 6

    Slice the Vegetables

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Slice the avocado into thin strips. Peel the cucumber and slice it into thin rounds.

  2. 7

    Season the Cucumber

Sprinkle the cucumber slices with salt to taste.

Torched Cream Cheese

  1. 8

    Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, smoked paprika, and sliced green onions until smooth.

  2. 9

    Torch the Cream Cheese

Spread the cream cheese mixture onto a heat-proof dish and use a kitchen torch to lightly scorch the top until it is golden and slightly charred.
