Method

Taco Filling

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fish

In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the white fish fillets and coat them evenly with the marinade. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Fish

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated fish fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and flaky. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cabbage Slaw

  1. 3

    Make the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss well to combine. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Chipotle Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Chipotle Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, lime juice, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth. Adjust seasoning as needed.

Taco Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Tacos

Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet or microwave. Once warm, place a portion of the cooked fish on each tortilla, top with cabbage slaw, and drizzle with chipotle sauce. Serve immediately.
