Method
For the Crispy Green Beans
- 1
Prepare the Green Beans
Wash and trim the ends of the green beans. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate bowls, set up your breading station. In the first bowl, place the all-purpose flour. In the second bowl, beat the eggs. In the third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, togarashi spice, and salt.
- 3
Bread the Green Beans
Dredge each green bean in the flour, shaking off any excess. Dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, and then coat it in the panko mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.

Fry the Green Beans
Working in batches, carefully add the breaded green beans to the hot oil. Fry for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally. Remove them with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
For the Wasabi Ranch Dipping Sauce
- 6
Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine the ranch dressing, wasabi paste, and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth and well blended.
- 7
Serve
Transfer the crispy green beans to a serving platter and serve them warm alongside the wasabi ranch dipping sauce.
